Autumn Gold, 3 new additions to the family
simply amazing tone, playability, and feel.
wide nut width 1 3/16" englemann top maple back/sides all areas on the FB ring true and rounded removed all relief, fretboard is flat, dropped the saddle height to real low plays with a touch and no buzz. the folks in Austin know how to build'm the 2nd addition is the tonegard-a simple, wonderful thing that just works-lets me hold the A style with no slippage-any tone enhancement is desert the the 3rd addition, but the most important, is "August". He came to us 2 weeks ago in a drizzle cold rain-around midnight, while we walking our dogs. Most definitely abandoned, he slipped under my fleece shirt until we arrived home. He adapted immediately and is the best present anyone could be blessed to receive. Hey, I'm a dog person, but this fellow is just too cool. He runs the household already btw. That mandolin is stunning! August looks to be a treasure! Care for them both well.

Man I love Collings Mandos. I am looking at a MTO down the road myself. Enjoy in good health.

Do you have ANY idea how much drool is seeping into my keyboard right now?
And that's for both the mando & the kitty...well, maybe a bit more for the kitty. It's obvious by the look on his/her face that he/she is in charge!
