Default Universal Shock Mount Recos?

I've got a CAD M179 mic that I like but the shock mount has fallen apart. Does anyone have any experience with replacement either for this mic particularly or a suggestion for a universal replacement?

Thanks.

You can get the replacement bands for those types of shock mounts.

It’s actually the knob that has snapped off on the mechanism that keeps the mic from flopping over.

My fault for not being more specific.

The best shock mounts I've used are from Rycote. This one would fit your mic (I looked up the specs)...

Rycote InVision Studio USM-VB Universal Microphone Shockmount

There's also a used one at B&H.

Alas…this mount doesn’t fit this mic. The search continues. The CAD is too small to be held in the mount. I should’ve doublechecked.

Sorry about that. I checked both the mic and the mount. On paper, it should have fit. Here are the specs...

Mic diameter is highlighted in green:

And this is the spec for the size of mic that shock mount holds:

I'm not putting that there to say you're wrong about the mic fitting. I just want you to know I really did check the numbers for you.

Rycote does make a smaller version:
Rycote InVision Studio USM
That version ends at 55mm which is where the one you have starts.

Oops. I have two or three Rycotes, at least one accommodating the CAD, didn't occur to me either.
Hmm, see CAD's specs also show 2" in one place, 2 1/4 in another..

No problem! I truly appreciate the effort. I’m actually going to try to drill out the broken pieces on the other mount and fix it. Somehow paying $100 for a new piece seems crazy.
