Default Bourgeois Vintage OM Aged Tone SOLD

This is a Bourgeois Aged Tone Vintage OM with a torrified sitka top and adirondack bracing. With the OM size this combination gives it the perfect balance of volume and warmth. It's got EIR back and sides and a 1 3/4 nut width. 25.5 Scale.

It's absolutely mint condition. I just got it two weeks ago. I had an LR Baggs Anthem pickup added but haven't even played it out yet. It's never left the house. It's been babied on my couch.

So here's the deal on this guitar. I search for the better part of a year for the right guitar. I've played probably 40 plus Collings, Golden Era Martins, and Bourgeois in several shops all over the country this year. This guitar is spectacular. Like seriously, seriously incredible. Tons of sustain and volume. Straight up piano. It's louder than my vintage dread. Which means it's LOUD!!!! It's the BEST OM I've ever played. But after having it home and playing it for a few weeks I've realized I'm not an OM guy. It feels weird at my arm angle after always playing dreads.

This one made me want to try to get past that. I knew I had to bring it home and give it a run because it wouldn't stay in the shop long.

This guitar needs to go to someone who wants a lifetime OM.

SOLD. I would also trade this guitar for the right 40’s or 50’s J-45 or J-50. I could even add cash on my end for the right one.

Goodness..that is a fine guitar. I hope you are 100% sure you want to get rid of it because it could end up in the "wish I would have never gotten rid of that guitar" folklore. Maybe live with it a bit longer to see if you adjust? In any case, good luck with your sale and happy holidays.
