Default Whose Music Would Others Be Surprised That You Like???

I was thinking that there are certain artists that I occasionally enjoy listening to even though I wouldn't consider playing on the guitar and those who know me might be surprised. I'll get this started as I listen to Jimmy Fortune (formerly of the Statler Brothers) and Dan Seals and also say that I occasionally enjoy listening to The Carpenters. Ok, time to bare your souls and/or let the slings and arrows of disbelief fly....

Everyone I know is aware that I don't listen to music. More than one know I have no vehicle nor home audio systems. So, to answer the question, they would be surprised to learn I listened at all. I seriously like the absence of sound. It's a different kind of peace.

Close friends that really know me would not be surprised but those in my larger circle of friends would be surprised to know I like Hawaiian slack key masters both current and the old school, no mattah its all good. I'm a slow learning slacker with only a few songs in my head.

I have an eclectic taste in music and so I don't think there would be any surprises in what I listen to. I think people would be more surprised with what I don't like to listen to, which is classic rock.
