So, back to guitars, yes? Here is our prototype 00, just strung up.
Before "risking" a customer's wood, we do a test run to make sure everything works when introducing a new model. This little baby is quartersawn Spanish Cedar wth a Sitka top. As there was no remarkable grain to highlight, we "burst" it head to toe. I'm a fan of a good sunburst, and this one was a lot of fun. To ease Bob's mind: it all worked.

Thanks, stringjunky, high praise indeed. It is still sad that Hans had to hang up his apron. That was a loss to the guitar-playing (as well as building) world. His work still inspires!
