In answer to your question, yes maybe your price is high, I paid that much for a new Mico and when doing an advanced search on ebay, of the only two they have listed as SOLD, one sold for $325 and the other sold for $301. Neither of those prices included shipping though. That said, I still own my Mico and it's a very good sounding preamp and that's comparing it to some nice preamps. Both outputs, analog and digital spdif, sound great, and I love the vari-phase! Check out the company mine keeps....
