Always at least one who has to take the opportunity to slam another guitar. I would. I did and I would again if the opportunity arose.

Wow, if I had to just pick one it would be a tough decision to make between my Wingert E and the 00. But at this point, I might just pick the 00 - cedar top, sweet voice, perfect size and it is the one that I reach for more often these days. But as soon as I pick up the E and start playing...yeah - tough choice...

Best,
Jayne

Easy for me - my Rainsong WS-1000 will be the last guitar around, and part of my estate when it is my time to go. It does everything I want an acoustic guitar to do - plays like butter, strums loud when needed, good for fingerstyle, very stable between tunings and across temperature changes (campfire jams), durable, not sensitive to humidity issues. And it sounds great plugged in.

I've spent years getting just the right group for me, and now that I have it, you want me to surrender them all but one!? Ugh! Well, if I had to, I'd keep my Martin 000-28EC. I have others I like a bit better for certain things, but none I like better for everything. So, in the name of versatility, and because I've had it the longest, and because I had it modified just for me, and because it just feels like home, it wins. It wouldn't be a happy day though, if I really had to do this...

my Taylor is for keepers
I almost sold it once, but something deep inside
said NO, and I kept it, and have been enjoying it
every day ever since

This is why I love this forum. So many great guitars and so many great reasons to love them. Now if only I could hit the lottery (for so many reasons). Thanks for all the really cool responses.....

I'm convinced there isn't an acoustic guitar in the world that sounds better than my 2014 Martin HD28V. Content!

Whichever one it would end up being, I'm pretty sure I don't own it yet.

Just beautiful.
I'd have one in a heartbeat.
Thanks. Sounds amazing too.

Right now the best of my guitars and the one I play most (the keeper) is the 72 D-18. It plays easy and has tone that consumes you...I really like my Taylor 214ce because it plays so fast and easy, but the 18's tone trumps that..
