Default Anyone ever used one of these? (Monster vs. Fender)

I went to a local guitar shop today and, while I was there, asked if they stocked any Monster cables. One of the guys said they don't, but that the guy who created Monster actually left and started working for Fender and came out with these:

(and similar products)

Same lifetime warranty. Anyone have any experience with them?

The guy who created Monster Cable is Noel Lee (a Chinese guy). I doubt he would leave the company he created as it's made him so much money over the years! I recall when he first started Monster Cable as a stereo accessories company.

But if you are referring to a specific designer for the guitar cables... that I don't know anything about.

You will hear much controversy over the nature of cables. I always use MOGAMI brand... Maybe I am overpaying - but they sure sound good to me. http://www.mogamicable.com/ Available at, uh, well, you know -- Guitar Center!
