Mine?
It's what I am, and, what I do for a living.

Mine comes from when I first got back into guitars, after a 20 year hiatus. I bought a Waterloo sunburst used and I was so taken with it that I thought, Looburst! I figured nobody had that name. I was right.

“Acousticado” = Combo of aficionado (in my case, an enthusiast, not an expert) of acoustic music.

Haha...my porno name would be “Snoopy Springvale”! My wife’s would be “Million Clarence”.

Joe Deveron on the big screen. Not too bad, really.

Name: self explanatory (at least to all you vintage Harmony fanatics lurking hereabouts).

Mine comes from the Silures, the Celtic tribe occupying S E Wales (where I live) at the time of the Roman invasion.
Roman legions are quite thin on the ground these days, so I haven't had to decapitate any legionaries for quite some time.

My porno name would be Sammy Finkle.

By that rule mine would be Shep Hardwick. Sounds quite good - like a PI.

As it stands, we got a dog from the local rescue centre. He was black and we picked him on a Sunday so we called him 'Ozzy'. (he's 13 now).

Hence Ozzy the dog.

'Ozzy the dog' with 'Ozzy' the dog.

What Silly Moustache ? Um, I'm not sure ..... (rubs face with left hand whilst thinking) ....Ah. There it is!

Seriously, When they told me I'd have to have radio therapy on my left had side of my face and neck and that I might lose all hair there I thought I'd have to change my name. My beard on the left side has disappeared but the "tache" has remained thank goodness.

I was once talking with my doctor about bicycles. He asked me if I knew the formula for the number of bicycles you need.
I said no, I didn't.
It's N+1, he said, where N is the number of bikes you've got already.

Later, looking at my growing number of guitar cases leaning against the wall, I realised that this formula also applies perfectly to the number of guitars you need. At present, I have N guitars. And so ...

I believe the Silurians first appeared in Dr Who in the '70s. Ironically, it is now filmed here.

When I was three years old I knew my initials (M. B. C.) and recognized Winnie The Pooh. My logical conclusion was that Mike must be spelled Mooh. I then printed it on everything within reach, including the underside of the dining room table which is still in the family.

40 years later my kids bought me a vanity licence plate with MOOH on it. I'm not keen on vanity plates but what the heck, I have a sense of humour and I love my kids.

I've used the name on several other forums pretty much since the dawn of the www.
