Default Nice tan!

Wow. It looks like someone threw molasses on her face. Unbelievable that someone would choose to look like that.

That photo appears to be doctored. I saw the same photo and she was quite tan (donald trump style) but not like that!

Actually, CNN also has a video of her and she looks like leather in that video too. It's not doctored.

It's amazing what people THINK will look good on them. I live in Florida and love my sun...but I also know when to stop!

Sunscreen is your friend.

I heard her interviewed on the radio. I tend to believe her, that she just brings the kid with her, probably mostly because it sounds too insane to believe. But that's probably pretty naive...

Her voice is as bad as her appearance, sounds like a 70-year old chain smoker.

The staff of the tanning parlor says they've never seen the kid in any of the booths. IMHO, it's poor parenting, given what we've learned since our own baby-boomer childhoods, to let a pale redheaded toddler out in the Florida sun without enough sunscreen to prevent a burn (and just one blistering sunburn can increase the odds of developing melanoma decades later); but even that doesn't rise (or sink) to a punishable level.

I don't even care about the kid, the kid is fine. It's HER that I find so strange and bizarre. Who wants to look like that?!?

Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Kramer's been smoking pipes nonstop for 3 days. Like Kramer, she looks like an old catcher's mitt. Sad. She's addicted and needs help.

I recently spent some time on SW Florida beaches. I saw a few people like that, mostly obviously older folks. They can't seem to get dark enough to satisfy themselves. Pretty sad really.

My wife and I like the beaches, but tanning is not a priority. We use 30 rated sunscreen and wear hats. We have a couple of folding chairs each with a canopy. Although some people lay under an umbrella, most don't, and our chairs are the only ones we've seen with a canopy. We may look nerdy, but we don't care.

When I go to the beach I take one of those collapsable canopies for shade. I used to lay out in the sun and fry like a piece of bacon when I was younger, but not any more.
