Default Yamaha Transacoustic Joy!

I had a moment of pre-Christmas madness this week and bought a Yamaha LS-TA in vintage tint. Absolutely stunningly (understated) instrument, totally love it!

If you've never tried one I can't recommend it enough as, not only are they beautiful guitars in every sense, the built in reverb (from inside the body!) is a fantastic addition to a straight unplugged acoustic - not at all novelty, just all out good old fashioned put-a-smile-on-your-face fun!

Glad you are enjoying what is a great guitar . I'm playing mine out for the first time tomorrow , during worship ( Nine lessons and Carols ) really looking forward to it . Only one problem I'm not sure how long the batteries last for in the real world . Good luck and enjoy [emoji106][emoji445][emoji319]

I demoed a couple at local shops and really liked them. One may become an addition to my acoustics.

Gorgeous! Mine’s just a few days old, and in the sunburst finish.

Have you tried it plugged in? I’ve no amp but am thinking of something.

Did yours come with a soft case? Mine did, and it was a surprise, as I thought they shipped with no case.

The tuners are really special, IMHO. The finish is flawless, and the mother-of-pearl inlays all add sparkle to a beautiful instrument.

Go on YouTube and find the lesson for God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, on the ShutUpAndPlay channel, turn your guitar on to 1/2 reverb, and play the first sequence, the one with the ninth chord. It’s stunning to hear.
