Default The Red Guitar...Padouk 000 for woodstock

Some of the reddest padouk I have ever built with and it has an interesting figure to boot. Top is adirondack spruce and the binding is ebony.
Thanks for looking.

Rib rest

Padouk neck

Dust on heel cap

An accurate rendition of the color and figure.

A little something on the peghead for interest done in padouk and black pearl. The tuners are cosmo black gotohs with padouk knobs just to try to tie together the color scheme

Really pretty guitar John. The colors reminded me of the Ebony guitar...in reverse. It is black and white with Red, this one RED with black and white . I love the visual touches and ornamentation you added to the guitar. Very nice work!! Great pics also John!!

Someone will love this one! When you add this to the others you told me that you're taking, your table should be the center of attraction .

You are quite right about the color schemes. It occurred to me too that I seemed to be in a black and red rut. The other two guitars are brown and tan but also in reversed modes.
As far as being the center of attraction I'm skeptical of that. Remember my brother and quite a few other really wonderful luthier will be there. Hopefully I can garner some looks.

Smile Woooooo!

What a looker! Nice added touches too. Steve's Padouk 000 12-c you built him is a very lovely sounding axe, and I am sure this will open some eyes and ears at Woodstock! And, it has the wonderful double bevels and a pretty bound port, to boot!!!

I am continually knocked out by the sound of our Brown BOMB Round Peak! I get compliments at every gig on the sound and beauty of your work!!!
I hope you have plans to build more elevated FB guitars with the CF struts, besides the next one for me. What a VOICE this BOMB has!

Best wishes for a lovely trip to Woodstock. May you sell them all! I will be very surprised if any come home with you.

Have fun

Paul

That guitar looks amazing, John--somebody should snatch that up for sure at Woodstock!

From what I can see, this is fairly assured. I think Mike has it right, in a room full of beautiful guitars, this one will still stand out. Lovely looking guitar, I hope someone will post up their playing experience from the show as well
