Great Guitar At Gryphon
Hopefully this is appropriate, and everyone realizes I have no financial interest in the sale of these guitars... I was at Gryphon in Palo Alto last weekend doing a workshop when Richard delivered this 00-skye to them. I just noticed it’s now up on their site. It’s the actual guitar that will be featured/reviewed in upcoming issue of Guitar Player magazine. Thing thing is an absolute killer. If someone is in or around Palo Alto stop in and check it out. I’d be very curious what you think. http://www.gryphonstrings.com/instpix/36165/36165.php

I know it looks wonderful. I'm probably going to be selling an SCGC VJ in BRW/Adi soon that was set up for fingerstyle play, but it's going to be a hard decision. The more I play SCGC's, the more I like them. Congrats on a great design!!! I so wish I was where I could play it...

Hi Eric,
Thanks for posting on this. Gryphon is a pretty cool place to go visit; it's where I found my Collings OM1ADD 2 summers ago. What an honor for you! And that SCGC 00-Skye is one good looking guitar! I hope one of these days I will be able to try one of these out. It looks like an outstanding design, with the bridge right in the middle of the lower bout. I like the slotted headstock and the herringbone bounding looks very classy. The wood choice is very appealing, too. Regards, Glenn |

Thanks Glen. I've become a huge fan of Coco.
