Congrats on a cool guitar. Wood knobs, no less. Carvin has the slimmest neck in the biz!

Great guitar! Was that a custom shop order, in stock, or did you get it used?

I have 3 Carvins; one of each. Custom shop, in stock, and used. Best value in quality, Made in USA electrics out there. Congrats!!!

"I find that electric guitars in natural or with wood grain showing are the only ones that tend to appeal to me. She is a beauty! Congrats."

It was a Custom Shop order. I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat if something happened to this one. It's hard to wait while its being built but (as you well know), Carvin makes one amazing guitar.

I lead worship at a church in the Pacific Northwest, and I think I sold about 7 Carvin's last night to guys from my church who play PRS, Les Pauls, Strats, and even a couple of Don Grosh players. The neck is the effortless I've ever touched.

Sublime.....stunning figuring. Props to you on your new acquisition, brah. How are the sonic, tonal, and resonant characteristics? Play on, pick often, and prosper.....Kabookie-san

Default Carvin

Congrats...thats one fine looking guitar. Love that "hippie sandwitch" guitar look with the multi piece neck. How is the acoustic bridge...I need one that covers a lot of ground also due to lack of time between songs in our worship set.

Awesome Guitar... Carvin's are incredible values for the quality. When I was looking for a guitar to cover all the bases with when joining our Church worship team I got a Carvin AE185... You're right... everybody that saw it the first night wanted one. Especially when I could cover acoustic and electric tones at the same time and the acoustic sounded more natural than the pastor's Yamaha Compass plugged in!

Love the wood knobs on yours... I didn't see that option when I looked for mine.
