Its very light in weight and sized between an 00 and 000. To my ear, the sound is somewhere between rosewood and maple. Very warm but with just enough brightness to be strikingly complex and well rounded in tone.

The guitar looks fantastic; the overall aesthetics and the individual woods themselves. John's guitars seem to have an appeal that just draws you in and makes you want to pick it up and play; hard to do with a picture.

It looks unique, but not too far out; just right.
