Default SOLD: 2014 Martin 000-28K Authentic 1921 Acoustic Guitar

Martin 000-28K Authentic 1921 Acoustic Guitar for sale. Purchased new by me in August 2014 from Sweetwater Music, this guitar is in pristine condition and has never left my climate controlled studio environment. A beautiful tonal machine...

All original case and case candy included.

I require no trades – this is being offered for sale to finance a set of competent studio monitors to facilitate an orchestral film score I’m working on right now - my PSI a-17M's are overwhelmed!

Please note in the photos, anything that looks like a spot or issue is glare and light reflection. I simply could not get my camera to cooperate with the light when I took these shot. Original photos from Sweetwater included to show the beauty of this instrument – they, too, are photos of the actual instrument for sale.

• Solid, highly-figured koa top, back, and sides for impeccable tone that will enhance with age
• Period-correct bracing for classic tone

I played the original of this in Fred Oster's shop a few years ago before he got it into CFM's hands, and it was phenomenal. Reminded me of German Chocolate cake for some reason. Good luck with your sale!

German Chocolate Cake! I see what you are saying - this one has delicious sound, as well... Truly a masterpiece and I'm struggling when I think of parting with it.

However, studio needs prevail, so...

Bump!

Best,

Mike

I purchased one of the first of these to hit the market...it is fantastic. Great clarity with a 12-fret body sound.

I cannot believe this "steal me" price.

Default Martin 000-28K

Hi Mike, I am very interested in your 000-28K---what a beauty! My wife is an avid singer/guitar musician and plays a Froggie Bottom with similar specs--- particularly the 12-fret small body features. I help with a mandolin and 5 string. This would be an excellent surprise for her. Can we talk about this right away? Pls advise. [email protected], or 707-484-2771. Best, John Benward
