Default Pete Huttlinger's "Si Bheag Si Mhor"

I am very proud of myself for being able to figure out this version of an arrangement by Pete Huttlinger, "Si Bheag Si Mhor". Usually, I will buy the tab and learn that way, but this time I just took the time to figure it out by watching. This is definitely a learned skill. This is another DADGAD tune.

Anyone else enjoy playing this song?

I do not know it but now I am inspired to see if I can learn It too from watching. Gorgeous piece, calming and lilting. Just what I need. Thanks for sharing!

I'd like to hear your version!

I'm too impatient for doing something like that, lol.

One of my favourite tunes despite it being often heard. A lot of people have recorded their versions of it. Whilst often played in DADGAD it lends itself well to being played in Drop D as well.

I clicked on the link thinking I was going to here you playing...

Thanks for sharing your versions Derek. Very nicely played! In comparison, Petes version is very simple, your version would be more challenging. I like it, thanks!

I think I will get his tab version of Water is Wide, that's another beautiful song! Ed Gerhards version in very nice also. Other than that and the ones of Huttlinger I have learned, I think I have learned all he ones I have any interest in. Goodbye Chester, Ellie's Waltz, and McGuires Landing. All those are very nice!

I have one of his books that has I think 2 cds of notation in it. The SiBheag Si Mhor notation is excellent. I'm having fun learning it.

I'll have to look into his Water is Wide tab to see if I have it.
