Default Splitting output signal for dual pickups

I have three guitars with either a Baggs or B-Band active dual source preamp installed with two pickups (UST/AST or UST/mic). Here is my question: How do you split the output signal so you can separately adjust the signal coming from each pickup? Will a mono cable with TS male to a stereo "Y" that plugs into two 1/4" inputs on my acoustic amp do this?

If you're cable from the guitar is TS you'll only have one signal to work with. I'm not familiar enough with your system, but if your two signals are summed in the preamp and sent out as mono I think you're out of luck. There may be a way to rearrange the preamp/output jack to make it work through a TRS cable which can then be split to two independent channels or plugged into a blending preamp like a DTAR Solstice.

I am not sure what Lr Baggs system you are using but the B-Band A2.2 is mono output so you are unfortunately stuck with the internal blend option. I seem to remember the older Lr Baggs dual source having an option for stereo output so that's a possibility. If it's the Anthem then I think you are once again stuck with mono.

On a side note, if you are using the Anthem, how do you find that it compares to the B-Band A2.2 system? I am considering the A2.2 but would like to hear more about it.

Thanks for your replies. I have a B-Band SYS 650 with UST/AST, a B-Band Core99 endpin preamp (earlier version of the A2.x) with UST/mic, and a Baggs Double Barrel endpin preamp with UST/mic. All are dual-source active systems. I am happy with each of these dual pick up systems but can't offer a comparison to Baggs Anthem.

Hopefully your guitar has a stereo jack where the 2 pickups are routed. A stereo Y to two mono cables is best.

But without understanding exactly how your guitars are wired, it's impossible to tell.
