Default Sheppard Ave Maria Wildrose

Some of you may remember that I unveiled the Sheppard/Jimmi Wingert Wildrose collaboration back in 2007 at the Healdsburg Guitar Festival. From there the guitar went to the DeVos Art Museum for a period of time. For a short time I was offering it for sale but then decided I just couldn't part with it.

A few days ago I was moving some in-stock items around and ran across it. I realized I hadn't opened the case in a couple of years. I opened it up and there it was, as beautiful as ever. I put new strings on it and played it for a while - Wow! This guitar needs to be played! It's a shame for a wonderful piece like this to just lay asleep in a case!

So...I've decided to put it back on the market! It's on my website here:

http://www.sheppardguitars.com/available_1.htm

My contact info is on my website. I only get on here every few days so feel free to email me about it or give me a call.

Thanks for looking!

Happens to me all the time

What a beautiful instrument!

How did it end up being displayed at NMU/Devos? Did you go there?

Hi Fitness, thanks for the nice comments. It was at the museum as part of a handmade instruments display.

Smile Wow!

Wow Gerald, that is one fine looking guitar. The inlay, of course, is spectacular, but so is the rest of the guitar. The top, back and sides look first class all the way.

I do remember that guitar! As I recall, it was one of the most photographed instruments at that show. Lovely!

*sigh* ... this has been the most remembered guitar I have ever seen for years. I even called Gerald and discussed price at one point...

Gerald, you and Jimmi did a magnificent job on it, and I do wish you success in selling it.

And yes - please do put it on the Marketplace with an asking price. This thread can be about the design and tonality...

Best,

Phil

Smile This Guitar is Calling Your Name Phil

Phil,

I really think you need to buy this guitar. You know it's going to haunt you if you don't. Plus, if you do, I might get to play it one day when I see you.

John
