No Trump
No, I'm talking about bridge. Does anyone here play? It's a great card game, but it's difficult to find enough players for the most part. It's kind of got a reputation as a blue-haired granny pastime, but I enjoy the strategy of it.
Hearts and Spades are similar, but somewhat limited. Chess is more strategic, but I'm horrible at it. Any online bridge clubs that are worth visiting? Here's a bridge nerd joke: The new bridge player gets dealt 13 spades. Excited, but unsure, (s)he asks, "What's the highest hand I can bid?" Of course, the answer is 7 no trump, so... Any other card games you like besides the ones designed specifically for wagering?

I never really did care much for the taste of euchre. During my spell in Louisiana, every mealtime it was euchre this and euchre that. Dang man.

I've played euchre a couple of times, but have forgotten the rules. Google...
I've also played Bob Eucher where you always got a front row seat. Dunno, it just happened right after I painted my porch. Must be stress. Better than okra and stewed tomatoes.

My late mother in law was a life master. Along the way she played with Warren Buffett, Bill Gates and Omar Sherief. At one point she played a tournament in Hawaii. When she got home I asked how she liked the resort. She said she didn't see much, they were in the main ballroom, a room without windows.

Wow, that's a rarefied group of players, your mother in law included.

I think I'm one of the last canasta players left on the planet.

I played a lot of bridge in college, and with my friends parents on occasion. Really enjoyed the game, bidding, teamwork, and strategy.

Played at lunch at my first job out of college. I liked that there were two sets of strategies-bidding and playing.

We play a modified version of pinochle at lunch almost every day. It's a fun fast paced game.

I loved playing Bridge but haven't played in years after the folks I played with moved away. I'm planning to retire later this year and may look for a local club.
