Default Am I the only one who is unable to respond to threads today?

I get a "Error 500, Server unable to process request" message. This has happened when attempting to respond and quote in two separate threads.

Default Error 500

Also no problem here. Maybe a PM to a Mod might start the process of figuring out what's going on.

Wink

You are asking the people that may not be able to post to make a post about being able to post...........

Do you see why you may not get any answers in the affirmative?

I'm glad that someone else saw the irony in the situation. It's like the teacher asking that anyone absent, please raise their hand.

I will say that I did have the same problem yesterday and just chalked it up to the forum being "busy" and maybe the server got a bit slow or whatever.

We'll see in a second if this goes through...

...and here it is!

Best,
Jayne

Error 500. Man, that is bad....really bad! I would not leave the house today out the front door. Also, be on the lookout for AGF agents patrolling your neighborhood. They wear dark suits and heavy sunglasses, and carry small cases that look like they are for a GS Mini but they have weapons inside. Your bank and Paypal (GAS) accounts almost have been locked and an NSA team probably is hard at work vetting your records. If you can leave out the back of your house, go set up in the dessert somewhere and contact us in three months after the dust has settled.

I get that error more and more frequently and the site appears to be getting slower. I brought it up in Open Mic a few weeks ago, but no one appeared that concerned. I remember this happening a few years ago and then the server was upgraded and it went away for a while.

Thank you for the first useful response out of 8.

In the meantime, I've figured out that the issue only comes up when I try to quote a post. Just responding works fine. Strange.

Think of it as a gift.

(FWIW I have more server errors with this forum than any other I am on)
