The way I see it game 5 is for Trotz and his boys to choke away. Ove chicken (my 10yo mispronounced his name reading his jersey one day and it stuck with me) has been demoted to the third line. Letting Crosby practice is probably intended by Sully to throw the Caps further off their game prep.
That is classic!

Pens/Caps on tonight. Looking forward to a great Hockey Night in Canada game ... played in the US .

How did Edmonton blow that game last night?

I stayed up until 2:40 am to watch the entire game into 2OT. A lot of fans had left the arena and boy, did they miss a comeback! At least two of the Oilers D were out with injury and under constant power play type conditions, they just couldn't hold up to Amaheim's onslaught. There was a questionable goalie interference non-call on Talbot that was certainly a game changer. Quite the blown opportunity for Edmonton. Too bad.

The Caps will lose tonite. Here's how I know. Right before the Final 4 basketball weekend, my big screen TV went out. Since then, I've been embroiled in a constant battle with the manufacturer to get it either repaired or replaced. In the meantime, I've had to watch the Final 4, the Masters, opening day baseball, Wizards basketball and Cap hockey on my little computer screen. I finally received and installed a replacement TV this morning. Surely, the Caps will now lose, and I will have no more hockey to watch. Wizards soon to follow.

My wife and I are back home and will be tuned in early. Wish we could get the Hockey Night In Canada broadcast but I'm afraid we'll be stuck with NBC.

Let's Go Pens!!

I expect Ovechkin to have a great game tonight. He hasn't done much but after admitting he didn't do well last game I expect a little more from him tonight.

Crosby is back, but Hagelin draws first blood. 1-0 Pens. They are 6-0 in the 2017 finals when scoring first.

Caps with the comeback and change in momentum! 4-2 as of 12:00 in the 3rd. Pens couldn't get it back in gear even after pulling Fleury for the extra attacker so this is going to game 6.

Wow, what a great first period for the Oilers. 5-0 at the intermission. I watched most of that period and saw all 5 goals. A couple of them can be blamed on poor goaltending.

Yep, I have no skin in this game, but I'm a watching! That said, I'd love to see a Sens vs. Pens conference final. OTOH, Ottawa and Washington are both the capitals of their respective countries, so that would be kind of cool as well.
