Greetings from eastern CT! Hard to tell how much snow we got here...too much drifting, but it doesn't look like it's more than 8 inches or so. I might get by without firing up the snowblower.

Another 'Alaskachusetts' person here.
Since no one else has mentioned it, with the low temps, and heat cranking in houses right now, the air is super dry - you need to humidify that Martin before it dries out and the wood cracks! There's a zillion threads here about humidification.

Welcome to the fun and congrats on the great guitar!

What part of Mass.? I grew up there and still have family over by Springfield. Now I'm up in NH. There's a good amount of the MA/NH folk on this site.

PS: You guys on the East Coast are getting the cold weather that we in Alaska SHOULD be getting, but haven't been. Give it back!! It's not yours!!!
If only we could! In the wake of the bombastic, bombogenesis, bomb cyclone thingy, temps. where I live will drop to -4 degrees tonight, Saturday's high, 7 degrees, Saturday night into Sunday, -9 degrees!

But since this is New England, it'll be in the low 40's by middle of next week with rain showers.

Welcome aboard! Hope you are weathering the storm, in Mass. Nasty stuff, indeed. I was born in Brooklyn, moved to Orange County NY, just SW of West Point. I remember the big winter dumps of snow, back home. Went to the University of Kansas... Lived in KC, on the Plaza before coming to Canada... Not so many big snow storms in KC or Lawrence...

Being in Calgary, we just had almost a week of -25c weather for the daily high. Then the chinook blew thru and my kids were sledding at McMahon Stadium hill, +5 (40F - Google McMahon Stadium hill) Talk about extremes!

Welcome to the AGF. There are quite a few of us Bay Staters and New Englanders here.

Congratulations on the D28.
