Glued a kalimba to my acoustic bass and made this kalimbass thing
Glued a 9 tone kalimba to my 5 string bass with double sided tape to make this... thing that I call kalimbass.
This happens when the metal playing gets to stale. Little percussive playing aswell |

Agree, nice mix of sounds. Does the kalimba ever sympathetically resonate when you are playing bass?

Very cool.
A kalimba with a flat back firmly duct-taped to a hollow door becomes gigantic-sounding. Really useful in the studio as long as you don't mind being down on your knees to play it. |

Would a kalimba with a reso body (hollow) possibly resonate? |
