That is my dream guitar..... Someday maybe.... Probably not, but it's nice having something to dream about.
Kevin has really developed (or popularized) so many great innovations. I love the bevel and the acoustic flutes look wonderful. I like the concept much better than a big hole in the upper bout. It makes sense from a design point of view as well. I wonder if other luthiers will start making them like they have the bevel. That thin Paua inlay around the sides is stunning....

I agree and think that he is one of the few that has successfully combined a truly world class tone with world class functional aesthetics (the latter I have found to be lacking with many guitars). I thought about the Cathedral and the Mission. If I went for a Cathedral I would have went with a Redwood top, however I'm so in love with my Olson that I would have found them to both compete for my time in that "darker wood" space. I like a big sound from my guitars so I opted for an NGS with all the bells and whistles, but it was not an easy choice! |

Thanks everyone, definately kudos to Kevin for his genius here. Jay's reaction is similar to mine when I first saw Kevin's work....I said to myself "How can this be possible? It looks so cool and how come I've never seen this before??". Definately functional art! |

Words are almost impossible to describe this level of Artistry which produces melodic beauty of the same caliber. Incredible...

Thanks! I really like the look of the more figured Braz (perhaps even slightly more than straight grain), but in terms of the additional level of collectibility/value/rarity, as you say...this stuff is certainly going, going gone (maybe going, gone, gone, gone, gone ) |

Well I'm sure you'll all object to this , but look what Kevin just sent over to me....some recent pictures of the my NGS Signature Model being built!
How cool and gracious of him to do this! Enjoy and big thanks to Kevin. I'm not sure about you all, but just looking at this set of Braz makes my heart go thump thump! (so cool of him to let me in on this gem) |

I saw parts of it when I was out there and the fingerboard looked especially amazing (this picture is from Larry Robinson's website)... |
