Default Just Barely a Halloween Song

In the grand old style of the spoken-word classics like "Big John" and "Ringo." And inspired by, among other things, the rather bizarre way my hometown Elks Club used to raise money for the local trade school for the blind.

The Halloween mention is in the 2nd verse. There are 15 verses in all, slashed from the original 16, so you may want to have an extra beer handy before you hit Play.

And apologies in advance for the Dr. Dre-style drums. Not sure what I was thinking, but at this point I've kinda gotten used to it.

Thank you. And if you made it all the way to the end, congrats on the feat of endurance.
