Just looked at them myself. Gorgeous!! Love the Celtic knot inlay on the 12th fret, as well as the logo/knot along the side of the body. Very classy looking instruments.

Cheers to Alistair and the gang at Emerald for this month's release. I'm sure they'll go quickly!!

On March 16th, just as Alistair alluded. Striking detail with that raised logo and the Celtic knot. The green is a slam-dunk for this month!

Congrats, Alistair and crew, on another unique Select Series offering!

I guess I am spoiled with the killer woodies that have been offered in previous months, the March series don't do much for me. I doubt they will sell as fast as previous months, but I've been wrong before. A lot!
Still wishing the best to the Emerald crew and congrats on the latest series.

I just want to say that these monthly select series offerings has been, and will continue to be a brilliant marketing idea by Emerald. No doubt they are super busy, but I hope they can eventually launch the road show. The significant interest in Emerald is not just because of their innovative instruments, but their unique approach to marketing. Keeps me looking forward to more even if I'm not in a buying mode.

I intend to (someday) buy a green Chimaera 6/12. But the premium for this special edition will mean that I pass. Very nice artistic touches and well executed, but not worth the extra five bills - to me. This is the chance to get one without waiting for the build time, but I can be patient... or I might just opt out of the green entirely and get an Opus off the shelf.

Great variety and product line up from Emerald.

This again demonstrated Alistair's relentless pursuit in groundbreaking CF craft that separates Emerald from other CF made.

For anyone that was looking for a green emerald this is a good opportunity, assuming you are interested in the extras Earl49 mentioned.

At first I did not like the Celtic knot design on the body, but I'm warming up to it, especially this one which incorporates the Emerald logo. Actually I really love the inlay on the 12th fret.

Cheers...

Likely the top of the upper bout location of the raised celtic knot design is smooth so it doesn't feel uncomfortable under the forearm and on those guitars with a bevel maybe it's not noticeable at all, but the thought did cross my mind when I first saw it, causing me to wonder if it'd be better placed along the top of the lower bout. That said, maybe it's not an issue at all.
