I'm a dealer and haven't heard about it! Where did you see it? I bet it'll be a Winter NAMM unveiling.

Well, if it sounds as good as it looks, then it'll be amazing! That's a sleek looking piece of gear.

Going to revive this thread because my buddy mentioned it to me last night and told me he wanted to get one before it was ready for release from hearing it at NAMM a while back.

Has anyone tried one? Seems crazy pricey at $1999 street. I'm wondering if that's why the whole Bose, Fishman SA220 / SA330, Maui, RCF Evox, AER, crowd doesn't seem to ever mention it.

I'm also wondering why the Bose F1 doesn't seem to have more fans. I played through one where it was the house system at a bar, and liked it better than the L1C's and L1 Model II's, but it was a while ago.

It appears to have a built in Venue in itJust wondering.

I mean for $2000, it only has two channels...

This thing looks good. I watched some videos
on utube . Some sounded great others a bit
tinny. I would have to sit in the same room
and listen to it before id fork out 2 grand.
I like that it has a seperate input for a mixer.
Which is good because its only 2 ch.
I am going to see if i can locate one locally.
But i doubt it. Four years of r+d on this.?
That May be why its 2 grand.?
It apparently can fill a room with sound like
the bose systems do. hopefully with more bottom
end. Interesting. Would love to hear anyones
review here on this thing.
Oops just realized this is a zombie thread
This synapse has been around two years.

The Bose F1 812 should have more interest among players but I think the only drawback may be its 44 lb. weight. I've seriously considered getting one while they're on sale for $1019, and also maybe the F1 Subwoofer to go with it for an additional $1019 sale price.

44lbs isn't terribly heavy, but I get it and the pieces seem more bulky.
I'm wondering how they sound compared to the L1 Model II's. There are two for sale locally here both with the bass modules. $3700 for both. Still crazy pricey.

I'm thinking of getting an LR Baggs Synapse and have contacted a dealer about shipping it to a FedEx Office Print & Ship Center for my convenient pickup.

I was hoping the flat-response, low-end frequency response would go lower than the flat-response rating of 65Hz.

LR Baggs Synapse Specifications:

AUX INPUT Input Impedance: 3.6k Ohms Input Level: +3dBv EQ Bass: ±12dB @ 80Hz Mid: ±12dB @ 1kHz Treble: ±12dB @ 10kHz MIX IN Input Impedance: 68k Ohms Input Level: +1.87dBv (1.237Vrms)
MIX OUT Output Impedance: 100 Ohms Output Level: -2.18dBv (0.778Vrms)
OUTPUT SPL MAX 117dB Peak, 115dB Continuous
FREQUENCY RESPONSE 65Hz to 18kHz (-3dB)
POWER AC Power Consumption: 220W Max AC Current Draw: 230V = 1A, 110V = 2A Max Voltage Range: 100V to 240V

Default LR Baggs System

I'm desperate to know if this is the thing I've been looking for to replace my very big, awkward, and technologically outdated Bose L1 Model 2. Is it? There are no stores where I live that have one I can try.

I recall reading a revue thread from SpruceTop. I presume that you could find that thread with enough searching. I can tell you that an accomplished player and long-time gigging musician in my own area is very pleased with the Synapse system which he purchased.
