Default Fretting finger stretches?

I am learning several songs that ALL have an Em7/B in them (I call this the Vulcan E) and I have been working for months on getting my middle and ring finger to spread wider to play it clean and it ain't happening... is there some special stretching exercises or what that I can do? I'm ready to tie them apart before I go to sleep to stretch them

There are several versions of Em7/B. Care to specify which you are talking about?

I'm guessing x22033, which is pretty common (at least in full with E bass). I can see that the middle-ring stretch - although a small distance - could be tricky for some.

But of course it's debatable how much the full shape is necessary for any particular song (sometimes it is, sometimes not). After all, "Em7/B" can be just x20000 .

This one x22033... I want to be able to play it this way, just need middle and ring to spread and say, "Live long and prosper"

I am kind of hoping there are some stretching techniques I can learn for other fingers as well as many of my chord shapes are not as clean as they should be (where the finger gets behind the fret like it should)

Thanks for any input

Try practicing chord changes x32010 to x2x033 to x32010 to x2x033.....Then for the Em7/B practice adding in the fretted fourth string note just after placing the other fingers.
Eventually with practice the fingers will place themselves simultaneously (or very close to it).

Wow that is hard... I'm gonna try it.

So there are no finger stretching exercises?

I'm embarrassed to say it, but I have "probably" diagnosed the problema.... I have nerve damage, etc. to hands so have problems that I have to work around... I have trouble bending my wrist to where I can get my thumb behind the neck and also have thumb problems which make it painful to get behind the neck (I play with neck deep in palm and thumb wrapped over top)... so I just tried this... cocked my wrist, brought elbow closer to body and dropped thumb behind neck and my fingers popped into place like they liked it there... Not sure if this is a long term answer, but I guess I need to see if I can use some "proper technique" to some degree to help
