Default Gs8 strings !!!

I tried 3 different set of strings and came back with the elixir medium gauge.

The sound of those string for me sound a way better !

if you get a better sound with other brand of strings tell me !

The strings that to me ears easily sound the best on Taylors are either Silk and Bronze or Silk and Steels. The only strings i found that finally give a Taylor a decent level of warmth IMO.

Not a fan of the Elixirs, sorry. I find Martin and Daddario strings preferable.

Yup, same here. EXP's and SP's in 80/20. Mediums of course. Feels good, sounds good, long life, and not too much $$$. Makes my GS sing.

For my GS8e i use Elixir PB mediums. I tried the Elixir nanos and other coated strings but i kept coming back to the Elixir PBs. YMMV

martin SP Phosphor Bronze does it for me on my GSRS/GS8.

Doesn't have the lifespan of the elixirs but does sound better to me in tone
