New McGill Super Ace
Thought you good folks might wanna see the Super that Paul just finished for me. For a custom builder, his turnaround time is VERY reasonable (under a year on this one). If you have an interest, I suggest contacting Kim at Cotten Music in Nashville. Please feel free to PM me or email me ([email protected]) about details.
The woods on this one are maple and cedar, with a good bit of snakewood and Baljac (from Croatia) gears. I have no idea about the tuners, but Paul is very enamored of them. I figured we should just let the artist do his thing. I never stop being amazed at how someone is able to make something like this. Photos courtesy of Cotten Music. Terrific (as usual!)
I'm familiar with Baljak tuners—they look very classy. Congrats!

Hey thanks, guys. Paul built this one with a top that is a little thicker than he usually does (more like the top on my '91 Classic, because he knows that is my favorite acoustic guitar). It's going to take a while to wake up but it feels really nice.
