Default NHL Season starts today!

It's finally here, the start of the 2015-2016 NHL season. I know we've got some Penguins, Red Wings, Maple Leafs, Lightning, and Bruins fans here. Anyone else?

Who you rooting for?

I'm looking forward to Hockey season. I hope they have lots of games on cable TV. I'm even toying with getting the Hockey channel. Around these parts (Washington State) not a lot of hockey locally, but lots of good hockey north of us,

H

I'm a Bruins, Canadiens, Canucks, Vancouver, Calgary, Oilers fan - probably some repetition there

Yippee! Great to watch hockey again.

I just finished watching the Leafs vs Canadiens game. Habs won 3-1 with an empty-netter. Price was stellar, as usual. The Leafs played well-enough, Bernier was quite good, but I'm now numb to them since my allegiance changed during last season. I'm now a Sens fan with their opener tomorrow evening against the Sabers.

Many Canadians are unhappy that the Blue Jays game will be in the afternoon tomorrow. Being retired, I, for one, couldn't be happier so I can watch both the Jays and later the Sens games, uninterrupted, in their entirety, so don't have to be flipping back and forth (or DVR one to watch later).

I'm about to watch the Canucks vs Flames game.

Yeah, MLB playoffs, NHL beginning, NFL (and CFL for me) in full swing. Gotta love it! Thank god for DVRs!

I can't believe Crosby set up Kessel so often and Kessel didn't score. Both my Bruins and Pens down in game one. I'm back home now and looking to catch up on some good hockey.

I am reminded of the joke about how Canadians make love, the punch line is "so they can both watch the hockey game"

That must have been sweet for Detroit. Babcock has a difficult few years in store for him and his team but building a team from the ground up is exactly what Toronto needs. That and a guaranteed $50M contract for Babcock.

Well, the have 3 out of 4 points so a good start.

How about those (cough cough) Canadiens? 3 wins to start the season and my poor Bruins and Penguins are winless.
