NFL Week 4
Well, I've said for years that Peyton doesn't really get into gear until he absolutely has to. It often isn't slick and smooth but he seems to get it done. Oh, and the Packers were interesting as well. How did the rest of you make out?

I don't think Peyton will hold up the whole year though. I think what happened at the end of last year will repeat itself this year.

It was nice to see the Bills playing with the precision and discipline that are trademarks of a Rex Ryan lead team.

It was nice to see Kirk Cousins engineer Washington's come-back performance against the Eagles. He has worked pretty hard to believe enough in himself to accomplish such a thing, and he did it. The Redskins are still just an average team, and the Eagles are even worse, but they're beginning to play the kind of football that fans can take an interest in.

The Patriots had an early bye week,
so still 3 and 0 for the Pats! |

I didn't realize how important the crowd is in watching a football game. Anyone else try to watch the Miami / NY Jets game in England? It was so boring, I had to turn the channel to HSN,

I don't think it was the venue. A Jets/Dolphins game is boring no matter where it is played. I can't believe they preempted my favorite TV show of the week, CBS Sunday Morning, for any NFL game, let alone that -crapfest, which never had any chance of appealing to anybody who doesn't already put green paint on their face.

the NFL needs to give up the idea on London. Seriously, $25+ billion a year and it still aint enough? stop already.. I'm in New England, so it was all just "Sunday idle time TV" I did watch most of the broncos game, and Peyton just don't look 100%. even as devoted PAts fan, I still love the guy. just hope he gest to retirement and not has permanent disabilities, He's already lost the feeling in his right hand, I read somewhere that he says it's totally numb, and waiting for what ever healing has to happen to happen. that's gotta suck. I did not see the Bill's game but I read about it. they are never going to do anything positive with that idiot they have for a head coach. he's entertaining enough for the rest of us, but he is a total clown. Peyton Manning looks nowhere near how when he played for Indianapolis, I agree, he should retire soon, and not do the Brett Favre thing. But, it's probably more a pride factor, it usually is for those types,

What game was it I saw yesterday, that I could not believe the play calling at the end of the game. One of the teams was up by 10 points I think, they were driving down to the goal line, were on the 20 yard line I believe, with 3 minutes plus to play and a first down. They were passing the ball when they could have been running the clock. THEN, the guy threw an interception, I'd say that offensive coordinators job should be toast. Anyone remember what game that was?
H That may have been the Bills / Giants game Last edited by harmonics101; 10-05-2015 at 11:25 AM. |

I agree with that, this is all these guys really know. It's gotta be a hard decision. but unfortunately with this kind of a career, it's unavoidable.

The good and the bad
Bad: The Bills roller coaster season so far. Can't say I disagree with the previous comments on my Bills!
Good: Saints over the Cowboys last night, with the OT win coming in a runaway by former Bill CJ Spiller. The Saints - my Bills Fan backup Plan!
