Default Is anyone making Ladder braced guitars?

Is anyone making Ladder braced guitars? Looking for a modern version of a ladder braced guitar for finger picking. I use to have a Fraulini Erma but I'm now looking for something in the OM size.
Thanks

Look to John How, if he is still working.

+1.

I owned a wonderful John How ladder braced guitar a few years ago. ... one of the few I regret selling.

Incidentally, the fretwork on that How guitar was the finest I had ever come across on any new guitar,

Check Mark Hatcher. You can see many of his builds on this forum. Also check out his videos. Very meticulous and stunning instruments.

The last guitar I played built by Hans Brentrup was superb. It was a ladder braced 12 fret grand concert. I played quite a number of his guitars, and his grand concerts were typically X braced. This but this one was ladder braced, not what I expected, not like his other models that were ladder braced. To me it was his best guitar.

Mike Hauver. I had a Blind Blake model for a while and it was a lovely guitar.

John How is no longer building. See his post (#26) of this thread:

Waterloo (not a single builder, but not a large behemoth either) makes ladder braced guitars.

It's a shame John How retired, he built some great guitars.

Todd Cambio of Fraulini Guitars has been building both x-braced and ladder braced guitars for awhile now.

The new Waterloo range from Collings has a great ladder braced blues-y guitar in the range.

Default Waterloo

I need a wider neck than they are making at Waterloo. I haven't seen any custom builds from them. Thanks though.

Does anyone know if Dale Fairbanks makes ladder-braced OS Stella influenced guitars?

I make 'em.

My Alfie Smith Gambler model is a Ladder braced 14 fret triple 0 body shape with a 12 fret neck.
