Sold -Eastman AC-622c
For sale (preferred) or possible trade is a really lovely Eastman AC-622c. This is flamed Maple and Engelmann beauty with flamed maple binding on the body, fretboard and headstock. This guitar is in really nice shape, with one exception. There was a ding in the top in the upper bout area. I had it drop filled with nitro and while it is a clean job, there was some discoloration that is noticeable. Most people won't notice it at all unless it is pointed out, but the owner will see it and know its there. Its really hard to get a good photo of it, but I will try to grab some more pics to help show the discoloration better. The last picture is the best I can do with my phone. Despite this one spot, the rest of the guitar is very clean with no notable scratches or dings anywhere else.
The guitar is very loud for its size, and has a nice balanced tone with good pop and stronger than expected sustain. This is a really nice playing guitar, with great action and a dead straight neck. I have really enjoyed this guitar and the only reason I'm considering letting it go is to trade or buy into a Mahogany/Adi OM. Sale price is $600 with split shipping up to $25 my total cost and I'll cover PayPal. I'll also accept a certified check with time to clear before I ship. I'll do a 48 hour return policy provided the buyer covers all return shipping and insurance costs. Includes a clean Eastman case. Trade value is $700ish, and I'd really only consider a Mahogany/Adi OM. Tuesday bump and price drop to $600 in the interest of moving it quickly, or keeping it in the stable. Probably will only be marketing it for a few more days and if there isn't any interest, I'll be pulling it down and keeping it around for a while. This is a $1,400-1,500 instrument new, and with only one blem keeping it from being mint, it's a pretty good price on a well appointed and great sounding guitar!
