I recently bought an outstanding 2009 Don Sharp SJ bear claw/tasmanian tiger myrtle from prickards. This Charis is a beauty too!

Hi ,
Gorgeous guitar! With Walnut, I assume the mids and trebs, in typical Charis format are crystal clear, round and immediate? How is the bass? I'm very interested, selling a 2013 Bourgeois Custom JOM, but would consider this even before my sells, if it does. I will be in Cape Coral Florida for 9 days from Aug 04 -13. Where in the USA are you located? Do you accept PayPal? Cheers, John |

Sorry, I have not been checking posts. There was so little interest which shocked me ($4500 for a basically brand new $7000 Charis). This one was an absolute steal. Guess it speaks volumes about the economy which is why it was even being sold in the first place. I feel your pain too. Someone in my home city of San Diego has verbally committed to buying the guitar last night but no payment yet. I will post back if he is unable to follow through.
But to answer the question posted, it is exactly how you would think. Very balanced. Not very bassy as you suspected with alot of focus and very clear note separation. OUTSTANDING fingerstyle guitar. Not really a strummer. |

No doubt about it a good price. But one still has to have some $$$ on hand for it! If I did ... Anyway, sounds like it's sold. Enjoy the Nightingale.
