Anyone ever try this?
At a recent gig I had to use my Martin acoustic as an electric guitar for the encore. The song (little black submarines by the Black Keys) starts out slow, so the acoustic guitar was fine, but 1/3 of the way into the song it breaks out into a raucous electric guitar jam. I Stomped on my fuzz pedal (Dr. Scientist Frazz Dazzler) and was surprised that it didn't sound that bad. Has anyone else ever tried this?

I've accidentally had an overdrive pedal on when plugged into my board to access a chorus pedal, and was quite surprised at the result. So much so I grabbed my 12 string and tried it again. Wild sounding!

If you mean trying that exact effect with that exact guitar, no, I haven't, but I know a lot of players (including me) use electric-ish effects with acoustic guitars.
