SS Frets

Just curious, has anyone put stainless steel frets on their CF guitar? Some come with SS right? Any noticeable change in tone if you have?
For that matter, anyone have their CF guitar refretted? I'm curious if that is any more difficult than a fret job on a wood guitar?

Blackbird and CA and stainless frets . . . I don't know.
All Emeralds come with stainless steel frets standard.
Rainsong never uses stainless frets.
Journey also does not.

Who made your guitar? Maybe it already has stainless frets. Possible?

As to a refret job, I've not read any discussion on the carbon forums of someone having a refret job yet, but others might have personal experience.

Emerald has commented in the past that refretting carbon is no more difficult than wood, all things being equal.

My CA Cargo and my former CA GXi have SS frets. So does my Emerald 6/12 Chimaera. I've read that Rainsong doesn't use them. Don't know about the others. I like them...no visible wear on my '08 Cargo I bought new back then, and play a fair bit. I think all guitars should be so equipped.

I have a Rainsong on order, should have it soon. I was just curious how long folks have had their CF guitar before looking at a refret, and if and when they did, what they got, etc. When the time comes, I do think I'll be getting ss.
