Default Current opinions on Blackbird Lucky 13 vs Rainsong parlor 12 fret

Now that FMI & Mother of Pearl saddles have been used a bit more widely on carbon fiber guitars, curious as to your opinions on the Blackbird Lucky 13 vs Rainsong parlor?

I've ready some people think the Blackbird Lucky 13 has a 'reverb' to it, for lack of better wording.

Which do you think is better all around guitar?

I have played and owned both. They are both good guitars. The Lucky 13 is more of a full all around guitar, the Parlor is smaller. These are the reasons I keep the L13 and sold the Parlor. Could not get used to the full neck of the N2 profile, to me makes less sense on a small parlor. Loved the total Gibson look of the L13. Sound was not a deciding factor both sounds very good. Looks like you got to play the L13? Did you like it?

I've not owned either but have played both and I prefer the L13 for its wel rounded tone. I was torn between the L13 and the Emerald X7 - went with the X7 as it was a more portable size.

I've played both side by side, and to my ears the L13 is hands down winner. The L13 has 3 soundholes... front, side upper bout, headstock... this provides a player experience unlike any other guitar I have played, very satisfying. I care much more about what I hear than any audience... the audience frankly can't tell the difference. I haven't placed the order yet, but I will be purchasing an L13 soon from LA Guitar. I will be ordering custom, can't wait!

Regarding the strap button location, there is no heel on a Lucky 13

There's a very recent Lucky 13 just up for sale by owner in the for-sale area here, or at the MacNichol site (forget which one).
