NGD Taylor BTO!!
So, some of you may have seen my post about a modified model I ordered from Taylor through a dealer here in Indiana. Long story short, after 6 weeks it arrived and there was zero changes done to the guitar. Standard topwood, stock hardware, pickguard, and finish. I was bummed but decided to re-order. I then stumbled upon a guitar with the exact wood pairings that I wanted and the topwood was only available through BTO. It was out of my price range so I watched the listing...then the price dropped, then dropped, then dropped again. The seller had a custom ordered guitar he was about to receive and hadn't hardly touched this one so he just wanted to sell it. I cancelled my order of the modified model, sold my electric and was able to snatch this BTO up before someone else did. Recieved it today and I love it. I hope I keep this one, I couldn't afford this build under normal circumstances.
PS: Don't feel bad for the dealer, I had to sell my electric to purchase this so I just used my store credit to buy an electric. Give Taylor a call with the serial number and they can give you the wood details. But then we want a report back.

My goodness that looks AMAAAZING! I would single out the rosewood which is striking. I also thought it was Macassar Ebony, but if they said its Rosewood, I’m sure it is. Your specs are top shelf. Love it! Congrats!

Thanks everybody. Funny thing...was putting on my clear static pickguard on tonight and thought, I need a microfiber cloth so I don't get dirt under this before I put it on. I stand up to get one and my giant iPhone falls out of my pocket on top of the guitar putting 2 dings in it. Good times indeed. I sent the pics to Taylor for a repair quote but if they don't think it has to be repaired I will probably leave it alone for now.
