Default Kevin Ryan Mission Grand Concert (2011) Excellent

Kevin Ryan Guitars describes their Mission Grand Concert as having:
Balanced string to string clarity and separation
Consistent, clear articulation up and down the fretboard.
           Sweet trebles and moderate sustain
Traditional styling without Ryan Bevel or acoustic flutes

Most players describe it as: .. 'Fantastic'

As a fingerpicker, my first impression of the MGC was how EXTREMELY comfortable it is. The neck width is 1 ¾.. which is a fingerstylist’s width. It has a thinnish neck profile.. I would say a shallow C. Ebony board is un adorned – no fret markers.. or buttons .. very clean.

Its sound is ‘present’.. The attack is very fast.. the tone is fat.. but with a bloom of overtones. But I suppose what makes it special is, as they say, the balance.. string to string.. it’s totally cohesive.. the string voices cling to each other.. presenting a 'choir' instead of a bunch of soloists.. and the tone is like Baileys Cream.. smooth and seductive.. BUT, if you dig in a little, it happily stands out and speaks.. easily taking a lead. I love this instrument.. but .. it's gotta go. I have this instrument listed at Reverb, but I am only trying to recover my costs and so offer it to AGF-ers at a discount. PayPal fees, if any, and shipping/ins. are buyer's responsibility.. but I will only ship insured / two-day delivery to CONUS. Buyer has 48-hour trial, but also is responsible for two-day/insured return shipping if not satisfied with this great guitar.

Thank you, good people, for looking. Asking Price: $6,600.00 USD

Very Best,
Regan

Specifications

• German Spruce top (*notated by previous owner.. Thanks, Michael)
• EIRW Back & Sides
• Ebony binding
• Venetian cutaway
• Extended 25.7" scale length
• 11.00” upper bout / 15.25” lower bout
• Total length: 41.00” / Length of box: 19.50”
• Depth at head block: 3.80" / Tail block: 4.80"
• Nut width: 1.75”
• String spacing at bridge: 2.25”

• The Mission Grand Concert measures 15.25 inches across the lower bout, and its body depth tapers from a relatively deep 4.62 inches at the tailblock to 3.62 inches at the neck joint. These dimensions give the guitar more overall body volume than many other similarly sized guitars. The guitar also has a slightly longer-than-standard scale length of 25.7 inches, which leads to an increase in string tension (an advantage when playing in dropped tunings).
• Bolt-on mahogany neck. Ebony fingerboard and bridge. 25.7-inch scale. 1¾-inch nut width.
• Gotoh 510 tuners.
• Custom Red Calton case (some scuffs)

I apologize for the delay in posting pics... I am technologically challenged..
