Default Guitars that play way below their cost :)

I've hears so many people say this guitar or that sounds as good as guitars costing twice as much I'm curious what those guitars are for they must be the ones that play way below their cost.

Default False logic

False logic, specifically a Propositional fallacy.

Affirming a disjunct – concluding that one disjunct of a logical disjunction must be false because the other disjunct is true; A or B; A, therefore not B.

Surely any answer posted would be brand bashing, right?

I don't think so if you are mentioning one particular model. But if you said "All brand XXX" than that would be.

Yes, this will be fun.
Very subjectively, I can only respond that I have played a fair number of pricey guitars that were underachievers and I would not purchase those individual guitars.
By the same token there were many not-so-pricey guitars that would fall into the same category.

I saw a guitar on Ebay (Epiphone Texan signed by Paul McCartney) for 49K. Without playing it I can tell you (IMHO) it will play way below that cost!
