She sings and that's what makes it. The most aggravating thing about solo acoustic guitar is that if you sing well your playing can be good but not anything fantastic and people will always rather listen to you rather than the guy/girl who is a great player but can't sing.

Unfortunately I am in neither category (which I guess is why people pay me to be a lawyer rather than a musician...)

Now i look at it differently than you john as some are considered great guitarists but they almost crucify the music putting so many tricks and stuff in .
And some have great vocal ranges with power abounding .

But this girl is making music .......to me there is a hell of a difference when all things come together ( imperfections and inabilities an all ) to make music from the soul ............it isnt simply that she can sing ...................its the aura around her performance .....in tune in all aspects ........

I suppose its the diversity of tastes that makes music so universal
