I certainly wouldn't let the bubbles bother me if I otherwise loked the guitar. If you don't like the guitar, then I would sell it and find one I liked better. Otherwise the bubbles won't effect the sound so you can beat it to death or not worry too much about destroying it. I would send the photos to Taylor customer service to see what they say.

I'm bringing this back up. Can anyone look at the pics and dertermine what caused these bubbles, or at least their best guess? I'm really curious.

someone mentioned water and that's a strong possibility. you notice how it's the worst near entry points like the neck pocket and the input jack. take a careful look inside the guitar and your likely to find more evidence.

even though your guitar is not under warranty Taylor might still refinish it for a price since they have a new dedicated repair center. it sounds like your ready to move on and a thousand dollars will give you a good start towards your next guitar.

You're likely to get the closest guess as to the cause from someone who can look at the guitar in person. There is no way to tell from a photograph. It was likely exposed to a chemical liquid or vapor which reacted with the guitars finish. If not that then it was caused during the application process. Again, no way to tell from the photos.

Well, there is a lot of humidity in Puerto Rico (tropical weather)... I never used a dehumidifier so that might be the reason.
