Problem getting Yuku forums on AOL

Hi all,
This afternoon at some point I tried going onto UMGF and several other Yuku forums from my AOL screen, and it just won't happen. This is the first time I've ever had this happen.

If I try to get on from Firefox, no problem.

Anybody have a clue what must have changed on my system to cause this?

Hi Howard, I can't help you with technical issues, but I've had on/off problems when using AOL as my browser since the beginning: crashes, interruptions, and delays...while waiting for AOL to deliver one time, I opened Firefox and retrieved the information before AOL even connected.

To put it bluntly, I'd remove all traces of AOL from my system in a flash if I didn't have so many Favorites...

Right now I use Firefox as my browser with an AOL icon in the bookmark toolbar only to access my mail. I have a gmail account also, but still need to check AOL to make sure I haven't missed anything.

It turns out that all Yuku/ezboard people were affected in terms of AOL and it's being fixed, albeit slowly. I still can't access unless I go to Firefox.

I did try opening AOL in Firefox and got through immediately to all yuku sites. Same with going to IE directly.

It's apparently a DNS problem, and until they're completely flushed out of AOL's system, there will be some glitches here and there.

not the first time here.....but when you are on dial up AND on aol you just expect problems

that explains why I keep getting an error message

btw......Howard, when are you coming back out to AZ? I saw your show near the dobson high school a little while back, really enjoyed it, and hope to see you again!
