Bill fabricated the peghead veneer today. This composite shot shows the fabrication process. The first shot shows shaping and pocketing the
Cocobolo veneer. Next, a curly
Honduran Mahogany inset is cut and inset. An
Ebony triangle is pocketed, cut and inset. This will be the triangle's shadow. Lastly, the
MOP triangle, logo and B/W/B purfling is cut and inset.
The veneer is also purfled underneath to match the fingerboard purfling.
