Agreed the Bourgeois has better detail throughout. The Martin has the prototypical crowded mids Martin sound (that obviously many people like ) and agree in a solo performance stereo usually sounds fuller and more pleasing

And gotta agree with DukeX (a drum is a drum, and a guitar isn't), honestly the slapping is a detraction. Not to mention the technique has become a tedious cliche' at best. If you want to add percussion you could try using your fretting hand with single notes or full chord hammer on's for occasional accent
