Mine would be a classical guitar that a hobby luthier that lives nearby built for me. I paid him $1500.00.
He watched and listened to me play. He took some measurements. I selected the wood. He went to work on it. Since guitar building is his hobby, I waited about a year for him to complete the project.
You may not be overly impressed by its appearance, but you would have to pay more than $3,000.00 to match the sound quality. I have yet to find a guitar that is as comfortable for me to play.
I'm going to play that guitar now. Thanks for the reminder.
