As far as I know, the only difference between the two is that the enhanced had a more pronounced midrange than the vintage. For rhythm, I definitely preferred the vintage. Here's what CA says about it:

My CA has Sperzel tuners, but they're not locking. Oh, and for the record, the guitar *does* have some wood on it, namely an ebony fingerboard.
