L-30... Anybody got one? Considering one
I work very part time in a guitar shop here in Fredericksburg that focuses on acoustic instruments. They have a big selection of vintage acoustics, Martins and Gibsons. One they have that I keep being drawn it is a 1935 Gibson L-30. I like the size, this thing plays like butter and has a cool tone.
It's been in the shop for a little while and every time I work, I hope it's sold. I'm thinking I may end up doing a multi-guitar trade deal for the L-30 (several guitars I've been talking about selling or trading away that sit unused).
I know they aren't very collectible or desirable. But, I am not a collector, I'm just a player.
Anyone have one they love, or hate? What experiences do you have with them?
